The idea for the bar came from two individuals seeking to create a welcoming space for people in leather, Levi’s, and uniforms. The Cuff Seattle is not just a bar but a gathering place for many organizations and communities. For example, it hosts Northwest Bears, POZ Seattle, Seattle Men in Leather, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and the Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf. In addition to that, they also present a lively Sunday Pride Street party.

Away from all the stereotypes and labels, The Cuff Seattle gives an unrivaled queer experience from 4 pm to 2 am on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. From 4 pm to 3 am on Friday and Saturday. And the place is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Karaoke and Dancing Nights at The Cuff

Dancing Nights at The Cuff

It’s a black warehouse-like place with a dingy and dimly lit interior. Moreover, the place has a dance floor, and the decor involves hanging disco balls, sparse signs, and the club’s logo on the black wall. Furthermore, the exploration options at the club are Dancing, Karaoke nights, and themed nights. They invite national and international artists to perform, for example, DJ Dirty Kurty: DJ Tracy Young, Spinning Techno, house, and pop.

Although they welcome every sort of crowd, the dominance is in place of the gay audiences and leather-dressed people of all ages. A pool table is accompanied to the upstairs place to blow off steam. One can play and drink before heading towards the basement for groovy moves.
