Climbing lessons that they offer
Get the hang of holding the rope for someone else. In this 1.5-hour course, you’ll learn how to belay, or hold the rope for, a climber so that you and a friend can participate in indoor rock climbing without the help of our instructors.
Best for: individuals who haven’t climbed much but want to explore Stone Summit on their own.
Belay classes cost $15 per person and include the use of rental gear for the remainder of the day. To take part, you need to be at least 12 years old.
Learn the fundamentals of indoor bouldering climbing with Bouldering Basics. Whether your brand new to bouldering or want to sharpen your skills, you’ll find what you need in Bouldering Basics. The lesson follows a prescribed syllabus emphasizing various body motions, fall techniques, and social graces. Class sizes are kept small to give each student ample time with an instructor and plenty of hands-on practice.

This comprehensive class teaches everything from clipping technique and rope management to lead belaying. Climbing at a 5.10 level or higher is required, as is being at least 18 years old and having your top rope belay certification. No exception. Make a reservation, please.
