Flamingo Park in Miami is centrally situated in South Beach. The construction of this 36.53-acre park began in 1950. Furthermore, in 2013, the Flamingo Park Tennis Center was also restored with 17 tennis courts, ambient lighting, landscape design, irrigation, and drainage. The fully rebuilt Flamingo Aquatic Center re-opened in 2002, and the tot lot/playground debuted in 2005.
