Beetlecat Atlanta For A Fantastic Meal

Beetlecat Atlanta is a prominent restaurant and bar in Atlanta’s Inman Park area that serves raw oysters and fresh seafood with foreign flavors from talented chef Eddie Barrett. Moreover, the restaurant has a two-tiered structure. Furthermore, the upstairs dining area and oyster bar’s cuisine transmits you to the New England coast, while the lower Den is reminiscent of a 1970s surf shack.

Not only that, the guests can enjoy some cool breeze on one of the two patios, which are located both upstairs and downstairs. Also, Beetlecat in Atlanta serves dinner every night and brunches on Saturdays and Sundays in the Den.

Not only has Beettlecat Atlanta been renowned for its fantastic meal, but it also has been awarded as the winner of the 2018 Down East Lobster Roll World Championship. So, let’s have a look inside!

A Look Inside!

Beetlecat Atlanta at Inman Park is named after a 12-foot wooden gaff-rigged sailboat built in New England by the Beetle clan in 1920. This two-story restaurant has a sea-themed décor that includes rope-equipped light fittings to evoke a nautical mood. Furthermore, the tranquil dining room is upstairs, whereas the downstairs bar/lounge can get packed.

Interestingly, the executive chef Andrew Isabella’s cuisine, which consists mainly of small plates, is meant to be shared. Not just that, the oysters reach from both coasts daily (but mostly the East coast). While they can be expensive, they are of exquisite freshness, and many have enticing saltiness and minerals.

Guests can hop aboard and get an extravagant menu from ever-changing dishes of oysters, clams, and other seafood, which includes Mexican corn, udon, kimchi, hamburgers, and Korean-style chicken. Further, these dishes can be tried with some fine wine, beer, or something like Tea-Juana Mix.

Moreover, the visitors can enjoy head-off crisply fried smelts with the surprise stingy hot pepper at Beetlecat Atlanta. They can also experience the delectable desserts by Chrysta Poulos, a corporate executive pastry chef. Coconut pie hidden beneath a whipped cream cloud, with a rich and delicious coconut flavor, is one of the most popular desserts at Beetlecat Atlanta.

Additionally, the wines by the glass and bottle are reasonably priced, with the Coppo Gavi “La Rocca” for around $9 for a full portion. Brunch offers unique savory donuts with unexpected flavors and choices.
